Perspective appoints new chief operating officer
Financial Planning firm Perspective has appointed former Kingswood COO Harriet Griffin as chief operating officer, a new role for the group.
She has more 16 years of financial services experience, including at Kingswood and Charles Stanley.
Ms Griffin has experience in operations, process and change management and will lead in areas including integration and technology strategy. She is a graduate of the University of Bath, a Chartered Member of the CISI and holds an MBA from Cranfield University.
She has also been appointed as the fifth member of the firm’s main board alongside CEO Ian Wilkinson, CFO David Hesketh, CRO Julie Hepworth and head of M&A Sam Ward.
Harriet Griffin said: “Joining the week after the Group announced it had made its 100th acquisition and also completed nine acquisitions in two weeks feels special. I relish the opportunity to help bring to life how technology can assist both clients and staff achieve the best possible experience and outcomes.”

The fast-growing group completed nine further acquisitions in the second half of October, adding £1bn of assets under advice. The Group’s total number of acquisitions since being formed in 2008 has now reached 102.
Perspective now has 625 staff, 46 local offices, 165 Financial Planners, a quarter of whom are qualified to Chartered level or above, and £9bn of Assets under Advice.
