The Personal Finance Society’s annual Paraplanning Conference, Purely Paraplanning 2024, gets under way today in London.
The live event is one of the biggest in the Paraplanning calendar and is expected to see nearly 150 attendees plus speakers.
The conference is taking place at etc Venues in the City of London and will offer nearly seven hours of CPD.
The event this year is using the banner: Purely Paraplanning - Thriving in a Changing Landscape.
The national conference is curated exclusively, “by and for the PFS Paraplanning community,” the PFS said.
There will be more than a dozen sessions covering everything from ‘writing for readability’ to mentoring, behavioural finance and the gender pensions gaps.
Other sessions will cover: sustainability, technology and AI, pensions, impactful report writing, neurodiversity and personal development.
The keynote speaker will be Amira Norris, head of sales and strategic partnerships at platform Wealthtime. She is a Chartered Financial Planner and PFS Fellow as well as the winner of the WIFA Woman of the Year at the Platform Awards.
PFS interim CEO Don Macintyre will also address the conference.
He told Financial Planning Today: "The PFS is delighted to welcome members to the Purely Paraplanning event today, and deliver an excellent learning and development opportunity. The team have curated a very well thought out programme of sessions and keynote speakers, designed to help professionals to deliver exceptional customer outcomes, and thrive in the changing landscape of Paraplanning.”
