PFS 'Futureproof' Financial Planning Conference gets under way
Nearly 2,000 finance professionals are expected to attend the PFS 'Futureproof' Financial Planning Conference day which gets under way at the ICC in Birmingham city centre today.
The PFS says the all-day event, under the Futureproof banner, will help give delegates the ability to prepare their firms and themselves for future challenges in an unpredictable and rapidly changing world.
There are many Financial Planner and Paraplanner speakers including several Financial Planning Today columnists such as PFS CEO Keith Richards, Julie Lord of Magenta and Claire Trott of Technical Connection.
Other well known speakers include Dennis Hall of Yellowtail Financial Planning, consultant and ex-FCA executive Rory Percival and Ruth Sturkey of Paradigm Norton.
The conference has several streams focusing on key Financial Planning areas including: Professional Development, Financial Planning Skills, Business Development and Investment.
Stream topics will include: Futureproofing your annual planning meetings, cashflow modelling, Playing at Planning?, Inter-generational wealth and the intriguing "How to love your clients to death with your service."
The day will conclude with a dinner reception and the Personal Finance Awards 2019/2020.
The PFS says the event will feature more than 30 expert speakers as well as a large exhibition area and other events and attractions during the day.
The conference costs £199 or is free to PFS members.
