The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) has confirmed plans to relocate its City headquarters later this month.
The organisation will be moving on Monday 17 September from Aldermanbury to new premises at 21 Lombard Street, London, EC3V 9AH.
The CII, which is the parent organisation of the PFS - the professional body for Chartered Financial Planners, says customer service and support teams will be unaffected and staff telephone numbers will remain the same.
The new office has a dedicated conference space for up to 50 people for events, as well as an area for visiting members called the Knowledge Lounge.
The lounge will have what the CII called “a touch-down work space” and members will have access to resources including periodicals, reference books, and specialist databases.
Sian Fisher, CII CEO, said she was “pleased to confirm” the move.
She added: “Although the library at Aldermanbury is now closed while the print collections are being moved, the Knowledge Services online resource bank and the CII eLibrary, containing thousands of downloadable eBooks, journals, reports and other specialist resources remain available to members around the world via EBSCO Discovery.
“Enquiry/research, copy, and book loan services will resume on 1 October.”
The Insurance Institute of London and the Worshipful Company of Insurers will also be moving with the CII into the new office space.
