A five-strong team from Belmayne Independent Chartered Financial Planners of Dronfield, near Sheffield, has raised over £500 for charity by completing the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge.
Partner Martin Birch, Financial Planner Chris Pond, Isabelle O’Leary, and administrators Tracy Knight and Laura Birch completed the challenge for the Belmayne Foundation in 11 hours and 44 minutes.
The Belymane Foundation supports small local charities.
The money raised from the challenge will be split between the Belmayne Foundation’s nominated charities for 2021, FareShare Yorkshire, Pathways of Chesterfield, Nenna Kind and Helen’s Trust.
Mr Birch, said: “This is by far the hardest challenge we have undertaken yet for our charities. We had tears, blisters and mental blocks, but we worked as a team and pushed on through, stopping occasionally to enjoy the beautiful views. I would like to thank all of the clients, friends and family who sponsored us. Their support kept us going and I know the money we raised will be gratefully received by our nominated charities.”
The challenge is made up of Yorkshire’s three highest peaks.
