Prestwood offers ‘gamification’ to help planners’ exit strategies
Prestwood, best known as provider of Financial Planning cashflow modelling software Truth, is to encourage planners to consider ‘gamification’ techniques to improve their businesses and help develop exit strategies.
It is teaming up with fintech firm Engage Insight to offer planners help on business improvement and exit strategies. Engage uses ‘gamification’ – online gamer techniques – to help users understand and use complex business performance tools.
Prestwood is working with Engage’s Model Office (MO) – a FinTech and RegTech platform – to offer free events around the country for planners and owners who want to take their business “to the next level.”
Julie Lord, a Prestwood director and leading Financial Planner, said: “Especially for those working alone, it is hard to find support that doesn’t cost an exorbitant amount and actually delivers more than just ‘marketing-speak’.
“These events are designed to help planners increase profitability and introduce firms to a way of building a stronger proposition: one that is rigorous, always compliant, and for those thinking of exit – ways to reduce time and cost for due diligence processes.”
MO’s platform provides firms with a snapshot of current business performance across firms’ systems, client proposition and operations and produces a template to help firms implement a streamlined, seamless, compliant and profitable strategy.
Chris Davies, managing director of Engage Insight, who spent five years developing MO, said: “MO adopts a prescriptive approach to business development using gamification.
“This means you can understand how well you are performing and what needs to be done to improve scores to ensure on-going compliance and competitive advantage”.
Events will take place between April and July and will be morning sessions with coffee and lunch provided. Venues include Bristol, Manchester, Birmingham and London.
The events are open to all Financial Planners, Paraplanners and wealth managers, and both Prestwood users and non-users.
