Quilter Cheviot has appointed six new investment managers, increasing its investment management team to 162 across the firm’s 12 offices.
Since the start of the year the firm has hired Lawrence Cotton, James Hughes and Andrew Jones to its London office.
Both Mr Cotton and Mr Hughes join from WH Ireland where they were both senior investment managers; while Mr Jones was previously at Royal Bank of Canada from 2009 to 2015, where he worked as a senior investment manager, before taking a short break from the industry.
In addition to this, Andy Smillie has joined Quilter Cheviot’s Glasgow office from Tilney Investment Management where he was an associate investment manager; Lorraine Antypova has joined the Liverpool office from Blankstone Sington; and in Jersey, Thomas Lovell joins from Rathbones where he was an investment director.
Andy McGlone, CEO of Quilter Cheviot said: “I am delighted to welcome these six very talented individuals to our team.
“It is an exciting time for the business; continuing to grow our investment team is a key focus for the year ahead and we expect more experienced investment professionals to join us over the coming months.
“I’m pleased to see such quality in the candidates we are attracting to help us deliver on our top priority, providing exceptional service and performance to our clients.”
