Sanlam has launched a no-obligation virtual consultation service with its Financial Planners using software such as FaceTime, Zoom, Teams or Skype.
The Sanlam on Demand service will offer consultations lasting around 30 minutes with a same-day call back with a named Sanlam Financial Planner or portfolio manager.
The consultations can cover planning for retirement, getting finances in order, inheritance planning, managing investments, and protection.
John White, CEO of Sanlam’s Wealth Management division, said: “The Covid-19 pandemic has not only changed the way we work, it’s also changed the way we think about our finances and our ability to achieve our future financial objectives. Sanlam on Demand has been developed as a direct result of the ‘new normal’ we all find ourselves in, providing people with direct access to expert financial guidance from the comfort of their own home.
“Giving people face-to-face access to the person managing their money is an important part of our service, and in developing Sanlam on Demand we were determined to retain all the positives of our proposition, but do so in a virtual and socially-distanced manner.
“In these uncertain times, it is essential people have their finances in order and understand their levels of financial resilience. Sanlam on Demand is designed to provide exactly this, helping people with their financial plan and enabling them to look forward with confidence."
