Sesame appoints new head of wealth management
The next step in the creation of the Sesame Bankhall Group wealth management service has been announced with the appointment of Pan Andreas.
Mr Andreas will be joining the firm as head of its new wealth management team. He will be responsible for leading the team that will deliver three new services for Sesame.
These include a new attitude to risk and portfolio analysis tool, a client and practice management system and Optimum Investment Management which is a new venture between Sesame and Henderson Global Investors to allow advisers to create bespoke investment solutions for their clients.
Together these tools will link Sesame’s investment platform strategy with its new restricted advice service to form the wealth management service.
Mr Andreas joins Sesame from a consultancy role at AXA Wealth and has 30 years experience in the financial services industry including time spent at Towry Law and Intrinsic.
Sesame chief executive George Higginson said: “We have talked to advisers about how our new investment platform was just the beginning and that we would develop an overall investment proposition.
“Pan has extensive industry experience, particularly in the wealth management sector and has a good understanding of how to build and manage a strong team.”
Mr Andreas said: “My objectives are clear- to help Sesame deliver a wealth management proposition that is easy for advisers to articulate and deliver. A proposition that is cost-effective, beneficial to client and also future proof.”
