Taylor Patterson appoints a new generation of directors
Preston-based financial advisory group Taylor Patterson has announced the promotion of four associate directors to director status.
Louise Potter, Keith Pressler, James Thompson and Jason Street have all successfully completed an intensive senior management training programme, which was developed as part of a long-term plan by the company to create a new management team to take control of the business.
The company says that having shown their drive and dedication throughout the course, the four will now join chairman Nigel Taylor, managing director Gillian Bardin and director Chris Bardin on Taylor Patterson's board. John Patterson, Glynn Bartley and Phil Rogers continue as directors of the group companies.
The move to introduce four new directors to the board has been part of a drive by the company's management to secure Taylor Patterson's future. Managing director Gillian Bardin, says: "I would like to congratulate our new directors on their outstanding hard work and commitment.
They have been through a very challenging and intensive training programme and, as a result, we feel confident that they have got the attitude and understanding to bring long-term value to the business, and of course, our clients.
"Training and growing our staff is extremely important to us, and we know that in our new leadership team we've got the people and resources to lead Taylor Patterson to new successes."
One of the new directors Keith Pressler, said: "The director programme has been a great opportunity and we are all now looking forward to working with fellow board members to drive the company forward.
"The programme has been an example of the training and development that Taylor Patterson offers staff, and it sends a message to our colleagues that a very strong career path is available to them with commitment, hard work and enthusiasm."
