Toni Meadows appointed as CIO for Ashcourt Rowan Asset Management
Ashcourt Rowan Asset Management has appointed Toni Meadows as its chief investment officer.
Mr Meadows joins from his role as chief investment officer at Broadstone Pensions and Investments and will be responsible for growing the firm’s research team.
He has previously worked as managing director for Close Asset Management.
His role will help to ensure Ashcourt Rowan has a ‘first class equity and collectives portfolio construction team’ to serve its clients.
He will be reporting to David Esfandi who is responsible for reviewing the firm’s investment proposition and also developing the customer proposition.
Christopher Jeffreys, head of the Ashcourt Rowan Asset Management, said: “It gives me great pleasure to welcome Toni to the business. He is hugely experienced and knowledgeable chief investment officer with an impressive track record in both managing funds and in direct investments.
“He will play a leading role in the work we are doing to refine our investment proposition and processes across the Group including the enhancement of our research support for asset managers and Financial Planners.”
This is the latest change since Jonathan Polin, group chief executive, took up his position at the Group since he joined.
He announced earlier this year he would be investing heavily in platform and technology structures.
In the next few weeks he is expected to announce the key third parties who will assist the Group in restructuring and acquistion.
