Wealth manager trade body PIMFA has announced a new two-day ‘immersive’ online conference called The Virtual Fest aimed at a Coronavirus-hit sector.
The event, entirely online, will run on 3 and 4 June and offer a number of online technical sessions as well as online networking for delegates working from home.
Topics to be covered in the sessions include ‘cyber resilience’, operational resilience, ESG and Impact Investing and Compliance and Regulation.
The event will provide CPD hours and is aimed at the wealth management and Financial Planning professions, says PIMFA.
The trade body says the event will help those self-isolating continue their professional development.
The event will include webinars, virtual sessions with speakers, videos, PDFs and online resources.
PIMFA says it will give ‘online attendees’ the ability to ask questions of speakers live during sessions and the chance to network online with fellow professionals via a discussion portal.
The event will be entirely online and the only requirements are a laptop / computer and a good internet connection, the trade body says.
Registration will open shortly with details available on the PIMFA website or via This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
PIMFA said: “We remain dedicated to supporting your continued professional development during this period of isolation.”
