Unbiased says 97% of financial and mortgage advisers have seen a business impact from Covid-19 and 86% of advisers are making remote advice routinely available to clients.
Unbiased says its new packages are more flexible and will help advisers cope with changing needs.
One of the drivers of the new packages is to allow better online promotion and remote advice. Unbiased says this has become “paramount” following the Covid-19 lockdown.
The latest research by Unbiased of 1,500 advisers found a sector adapting to lockdown, replacing face-to-face meetings with remote advice – often for the first time.
Nearly a third of advisers have never offered remote advice before and over half (56%) have had to invest more in this area.
Most significantly, says Unbiased, 86% of respondents said that even after the lockdown they would continue to make remote advice available for those who wanted it.
Nearly a third (31%) believed that offering remote advice had actively improved their service however the vast majority (over 90%) had observed a negative impact on their business from Covid-19.
All plans include in-account client messaging and chat history, automated welcome messages, the ability to access enquiries anywhere via a mobile app and a prominent web presence with Search Engine Optimisation.
Karen Barrett, CEO and founder of Unbiased, said: “The Unbiased platform has enabled business continuity for advisers through this most difficult time, along with continuity of advice for consumers who may be at their most vulnerable.”
More than 2m people use Unbiased each year, according to the company.
