XPS Pensions Group (XPS) has appointed a new head of pensions and office chair in Leeds.
Lisa Whitby joined XPS last summer and takes over the roles today.
She has replaced John Burns who XPS says was “instrumental in changing the structure of the Leeds office”.
In his three years in the post he developed a “proactive and commercial office culture”.
Having restructured the office, Mr Burns is returning to focus on client work, as well as wider business initiatives.
Paul Cuff, Co-CEO at XPS Pensions Group, said: “Lisa joined XPS last summer and has already made a strong contribution to the growth of the Leeds pensions team.
“She is an experienced and capable leader and was the obvious choice to head the office following John’s decision to step down from his current role and return to focusing on his clients and other wider projects.
“We are all looking forward to continuing to work with her and see the office grow and develop.”
Ms Whitby said: “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time so far at XPS, the office in Leeds has a vibrant culture and is focused on delivering for clients.
“When John decided to refocus his role back to clients I was very flattered to be approached to assume the position.
“He has put a structure in place that works efficiently and commercially for us and our clients and I look forward to continuing working with him.”
