Richard Freeman, chief distribution officer for Intrinsic’s parent company Old Mutual Wealth, said it was key to the firm’s commitment to face-to-face Financial Planning.

The School will offer students two study options, both of which lead to completion of the Institute of Financial Services Level 4 Financial Planning Diploma:

1. The Financial Adviser School Diploma Programme for new trainees: Financial Planning Diploma Programme, designed for students with little or no prior exposure to providing financial advice.

2. The Financial Adviser School Diploma Programme for existing mortgage and protection advisers: A tailored version of the Financial Planning Diploma Programme designed for existing mortgage and protection advisers.

Alongside exam support, the school specialises in helping students develop skills such as training in customer service, communications, business planning and other competencies.

“Sesame has built a fantastic resource dedicated to educating aspiring financial advisers and we are pleased to have the opportunity to continue to build on the exceptional foundations they have put in place.”

Intrinsic announced in October that it had reached a provisional agreement to acquire the school, founded by Sesame in 2011.
