TV and rugby stars to speak at PIMFA Summit
The wealth manager trade association PIMFA has signed up David Ellis, CEO of Harlequins Rugby Club and TV wildlife presenter Chris Packham as keynote speakers for its 19th Annual Summit.
They will join industry experts, regulators and policy makers, and senior figures in the financial services sector at London’s County Hall on Wednesday 16 October.
The PIMFA Annual Summit is a conference focused on the investment management and financial advice industry.
Major topics will include the future of the wealth, politics and the UK economy, leadership, innovation, the regulatory landscape and ESG investing.

David Ellis has been CEO at Harlequins for the past eight years. He will be sharing his experience while leading the rugby union team and discuss how under his leadership changes to the club’s culture and focus on increasing their commercial offering has led to it thriving in the modern digital era.
Chris Packham is a presenter of BBC Springwatch and The Really Wild Show and a conservationist and author. He will be discussing the impacts of climate change and how the financial services sector can make a difference.
Other speakers will include experts from organisations including, the FCA, The Spectator, The New Statesman, Quilter, The Impact Investing Institute, BNY Mellon Pershing, Coutts & Co and Netwealth.
The programme is accredited by the CISI and the day will end with a networking reception.
